The Chinese smartphone maker Vivo is all set to launch a new smartphone in China on July 31. The new handset called the Vivo Z5 will be the latest Z-Series handset from the company. Vivo only recently launched the Z1 Pro in India.The phone has been leaked on TENAA revealing full specifications as well, and the renders have been released revealing design details.Several new teasers have now been released by the company revealing key specifications details.
Vivo Z5: Specifications, key features :
The phone will sport a glossy gradient back panel, a waterdrop-style notch, and a triple rear camera setup. The back panel will come in three colour options. Moreover, the phone is listed to sport a 6.38-inch full-HD+ display, AMOLED Panel and waterdrop notch that provides a tall aspect ratio and the smartphone is also equipped with an in-screen fingerprint reader. The right side of the phone features a volume controller and a power button and there seems to be a dedicated button for accessing Jovi AI assistant on its left edge.
The handset will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC – which is an overclocked version of the existing Snapdragon 710 chipset that is used in the likes of the Realme 3 Pro and the Realme X. The Vivo Z5 will most likely come in 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB configurations. The phone houses a relatively large 4,400 mAh battery and supports 22.5-watt fast charging.
The handset will get triple cameras at the back. The primary camera on the Vivo Z5 uses a 48-megapixel sensor. The secondary camera on the handset uses an 8-megapixel sensor while the third rear camera is most likely to be a 2-megapixel depth sensor. At the front, the handset will get a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
The Vivo Z5 is expected to go on sale in China soon after its launch on July 31. There is no word of India launch.
