Xiaomi is finally here with its latest gaming smartphone - the Black Shark 2, the successor to the Black Shark and Black Shark Helo. Xiaomi launched a new gaming smartphone today with the unveiling of the Black Shark 2 at an event in Delhi. Priced at ₹39,999 for its base variant. Black Shark is Xiaomi ecosystem Company, however, in India the gaming company Black Shark will operate on its own.The Black Shark 2 will surely compete with other gaming phones such as Asus' ROG Phone and Nubia's Red Magic series.

The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 is priced at ₹39,999 for the base 6GB/128GB variant while its top-of-the-line 12GB/256GB variant is priced at ₹49,999.It comes in two color options Shadow Black and Frozen Silver. The Black Shark 2 will go on sale starting 4 June at 12 noon on Flipkart.
Xiaomi Black Shark 2 features :
It sports a 6.39-inch AMOLED display with full HD+ resolution and supports HDR+ colours, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 403ppi of pixel density and also has a 3D touch like feature. The screen doesn't have a notch.. It has a touch refresh rate of 240Hz. The phone has an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The Black Shark 2 has a rugged design like a true gaming smartphones and also gets its own RGB light strips towards the edges. To enhance network performance while playing multiplayer games a redesigned antenna setup is provided.
It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, paired with Adreno 640 GPU and up to 12GB RAM.The Black Shark 2 runs on Joy UI based on Android 9 Pie, which is almost similar to stock Android. It also uses a vapour cooling chamber to keep the internal temperatures under control while playing.the smartphone features a "Ludicrous Mode" that allows them to play games utilising full CPU power.
On the camera section, For the rear, there's a a 48-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.75 lens and a 12-megapixel telephoto secondary camera with an f/2.2 lens and 2X optical zoom. On the front, it gets a 20-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 lens
Black Shark 2 has a pair of stereo speakers and triple microphone setup to suppress noise. In terms of battery it’s backed by a 4,000mAh battery and comes with a 27W fast charger.The smartphone's onboard storage uses the UFS2.1 storage standard.
In terms of connectivity, the phone comes with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and USB Type-C port. Sensors onboard include an accelerometer, ambient light, and a gyroscope.
