The Chinese company has revealed the Vivo Z1 Pro India launch date is set for July 3. “We are glad to inform you that launch date of Vivo Z1Pro has been revealed. We are going to launch this handset on 3rd July-19,” Vivo announced via a tweet. The launch date has been listed on Vivo India’s official website. The device will be available for purchase via Flipkart.The smartphone was previously rumoured to be a rebranded version of Z5x launched in India, but teasers uploaded on Vivo India’s official media handles reveal different the Z1Pro with different internals.
Vivo Z1 Pro features, expected specifications
The Vivo Z1 Pro smartphone is said to sport a 6.53-inch punch-hole display along with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The front panel functions at full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) resolution. The device will also sport a near bezel-less design on the front with a slightly thick chin at the bottom of the display. As per the renders the rear panel of the device may come with a gradient finish and a reflective glass-like back.
According to Vivo, the Z1 Pro will be the first smartphone with octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 712AIE SoC in India with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The device will sport expandable storage with the help of a microSD card slot. . The Snapdragon 712 SoC is based on 10nm manufacturing processor and uses Adreno 616 as GPU. Vivo claims that the new chipset offers 10 percent better performance than Snapdragon 710 SoC and 25 percent better than the Snapdragon 660 SoC.
For game lovers, Vivo has partnered with PUBG and the phone will be the official smartphone for PUBG Mobile Club 2019. Further, there will be multi turbos such as Game turbo and cooling turbo for the smooth gaming experience.
Vivo Z1 pro is claimed to deliver fast charging with its long-lasting battery capacity which will pack a 5000mAh unit and 18W fastcharge support.
The Z1Pro would come with a punch-hole display for the 32MP. The rear would sport a triple camera setup with an AI super-wide angle camera. This setup is rumored to come with a 16-megapixel primary shooter with an f/1.78 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. It might be paired by a 2-megapixel depth camera with f/2.4 aperture, similar to the Vivo Z5x. There would also be a rear fingerprint scanner at the back.
In terms of connectivity, the device will offer standard Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and dual-4G VoLTE.
Vivo Z1 Pro expected price
Its pricing still remains a mystery. The smartphone should be placed in the Rs 15,000-20,000 smartphone category, in direct competition with Redmi Note 7 Pro, Samsung Galaxy M40, and Realme 3 Pro.
